"Nightshift" is my own personal take on what I think a Five Nights at Freddy's themed Undertale alternate universe would be. One that combines both Five Nights at Freddy's gameplay and lore with Undertales own gameplay and lore, mixed in with my own personal touches.

Main Plot

Long ago, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza was just an average pizzaria. But one day, someone organized a mass murder of children, shoving the bodies into the suits and putting them all into storage. In the end, they claimed the lives of a few dozen children, all shoved into the suits and put into an underground storage facility, never to be seen again.

But one day, through the combined power of DETERMINATION and REMNANT, their souls possessed the animatronics they were trapped in, bringing them all back to life. But the place had been abandoned, and the only way out was off access, so they weren't just trapped in the animatronics, they were trapped underground as well. With no hope of ever being set free, and without needing to do anything to survive, they built their own mini society, trying to distract from their miserable lives through everything else left down in the facility.

Their only hope to be set free at that point, was to end the life of the person who killed them. And being unable to remember what they looked like, they only had one option: kill anyone who came down, no exceptions.

If they were them, they'd be set free. If they weren't, they'd become one of them.

Everyone agreed to this except for one, the child who possessed Chica. She ended up isolating herself from the rest of the animatronic society, living in an underground pizzeria  connected to the facility, and the only known way into the facility.

It had been 30 years since then, all the kids grew up, and out of several people who fell down none were the one they were looking for.  And at that point, all hope seemed lost.

But then one day, a child fell down who was more special than the others. A child who may possibly have a way they can finally be let free without the need to kill anyone. And as you may have already guessed, that child is YOU.

Gameplay

The main RPG segments of the game play exactly like the Undertale you all know and love, but there's some new things thrown in and changed to make the gameplay more unique:

• A new battle system combining elements from Undertale, Deltarune, and FNaF World. You can get new party members with abilities that can heal you, weaken enemies, or even change your soul in various ways!
• Classic FNaF styled hiding segments. Survive by keeping undefeatable enemies out of the room you're in my closing doors and checking cameras!
• Minigames! (Maybe I don't really know yet lol)
• More stuff I might think of during development! If I add any i'll put them here!
